Juror #2
The Clint Eastwood-directed Juror #2 arrives this week to digital (before heading to Max on Dec. 20). The film stars Nicholas Hoult as a man selected to be on the jury of a murder case, who realizes he might be the one responsible for the crime. facing a moral dilemma, he must decide whether to come forward with what he knows, or convict another man for his own wrongdoing. The film co-stars Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, and Kiefer Sutherland.
Weekend in Taipei
Weekend In Taipei stars Luke Evans and Sung Kang (Han from the Fast & Furious movies, a.k.a my personal favorite member of the Dominic Toretto extended family) in an action thriller co-written by Luc Besson and George Huang, and directed by Huang. The film stars Evans as DEA agent John Lawlor, who is attempting to take down Kwang, the leader of a cartel (Kang). Lawlor heads to Taipeu to investigate, finding allies in Kwang’s own son, Raymond, and wife, Joey (Gwei Lun-mei), who John once had a romantic relationship with.
