Ricki Lake Says Netflix Medium Tyler Henry Predicted Her Home Would Burn In L.A Wildfires Months Ago: He “Called It”

Just days after losing her Malibu “dream home” to the Los Angeles wildfires, Hairspray star Ricki Lake shared a clip from her recent appearance on Live From The Other Side, where medium Tyler Henry seemingly saw “a fire risk” in her future.

“The great @tylerhenrymedium called it! Less than three months ago, on Oct 15th, 2024 Ross and I were on Tyler’s show and guys, he SAW the fire,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a clip of her appearance on the Netflix show, where she was joined by her husband Ross Burningham. “I urge you to watch it.”

She added, “Omg. Praying for all those impacted by this ongoing nightmare, including my new friend, @tylerhenrymedium and @rachaelharris whose homes I hear may be at risk.”

The clip showed Henry predicting she would experience some sort of “loss of material objects” due to a fire or water damage.

“I’m trying to articulate this without it sounding concerning — I think this may have already happened, if there was a loss of material objects from a fire and water — and water though, that’s the kind of weird distinction, it’s two separate things,” he explained in the clip. Henry said he could see “a house fire, or something along those lines, a fire risk.”

He also predicted that Lake would experience “water seepage into a place it shouldn’t,” which would damage her belongings.

Lake’s update comes just days after she shared an emotional social media post showing what remained of her Malibu home, which was severely damaged by the Los Angeles wildfires.

“It’s all gone,” she wrote on Instagram. “This description ‘dream home’ doesn’t suffice. It was our heaven on earth. The place where we planned to grow old together… This loss is immeasurable. It’s the spot where we got married 3 years ago.”

The Los Angeles wildfires are estimated to have impacted as many as 10,000 structures across the county, with the most impact in Pacific Palisades and Eaton.

Live From The Other Side With Tyler Henry is a weekly live talk show hosted by the medium-clairvoyant. Chrishell Stause, Kristin Chenoweth and Brittany Cartwright appeared on the show’s inaugural season, amongst several other celebrity guests.
