Kelly Ripa Claims Mark Consuelos Is A “Dirty Liar” After He Insists He’s Never Read Her Journal

Kelly Ripa has some reading material for Mark Consuelos.

As Consuelos read this week’s weather in New York City on Tuesday’s Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa was reminded of recently being blown “into traffic” by the wind while taking a walk downtown.

“And then you think to yourself, ‘Oh my gosh, this is how it ends?!'” she quipped.

Ripa teased that “immediately you start going through your mind” and run through a checklist of things that need to be set should something happen to you.

“Yes, clean underwear. Are my affairs in order?” she continued. “Does Mark know where my journals are? Like, all of this stuff. What condition am I going to be in?”

Consuelos asked, “Do you want me to know where your journals are?”

Ripa replied, “Yes, of course.”

Still seemingly perplexed, Consuelos added, “Just in case I want to read through them?”

Ripa clarified, “Well, I mean, I think there’s some things you should know.”

After Consuelos admitted that he has “seen [her] journal out by [her] bedstand once or twice,” Ripa inquired as to whether her husband and co-host has taken a peek. Though Consuelos adamantly denied doing so, Ripa was not so sure.

“You are a liar,” Ripa teased. “You’re a dirty liar.”

Consuelos insisted, “I don’t want to know. I just want my reality to be my reality.”

However, Consuelos’ interest was piqued after Ripa claimed what she thinks about him is “fascinating.”

“I think you would like it,” Ripa said. “Yeah. You think I would actually put down anything that you might take offense to in my journal, knowing that you’re probably going to read it?”

Consuelos joked, “At some point. Knowing that it’s a windy day, any windy day could just pick you up.”

Ripa exclaimed, “Any windy day, apparently, can take me out. I was like a Macy’s float. I mean, I was out of control. It was wild.”

As for which float Ripa resembled, she quipped, “I don’t know, the one that got loose that one time. That’s the one I was.”
